Rayonier employees welcome “The Trail Blazers” to their new Wildlight school.

The first day of school can be a little daunting for youngsters.  And the first day of school at a brand new school can be even more so.  Wildlight Elementary School, the newest school in the Nassau County Florida School District lies up a new road past the corporate headquarters of Rayonier.  Understanding that students might need a little reassurance as their buses took them through a construction site and past the almost finished Rayonier building, employees came up with a plan to add to the excitement of their first day in a new school.

The morning of August 10, 2017, twenty Rayonier employees showed up early to make signs and wave a welcome to the first ever classes to meet in the brand new Wildlight Elementary School.

The public will be invited to tour the new school later this month.
