“Deadline to change party affiliation is February 18.”
March 17, is the Presidential Primary Preference (PPP) Day in Florida when Democrats and Republican voters will head to the polls. The PPP vote is a closed primary. Only registered Democrats and Republicans can vote.
According to the Supervisor of Elections Vicki Cannon, if registered voters with No Party Affiliation or Other affiliations wish to participate, the deadline to change party affiliation is February 18. To check your voting status, click here. Voting options are available “by mail, by voting early, or by voting at the polls on Election Day.”
