Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County is proud to announce their participation in Teaming Up To Tackle Hunger with the Jacksonville Jaguars. This holiday season, 50 of our families are able to benefit from our partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Publix and PepsiCo and supporting partners of hunger relief, Pajcic & Pajcic Law Firm, Century Ambulance and Stahl Meyer Foods.

The Publix holiday meal bags containing a mix of non-perishables, such as canned corn and green beans, stuffing mix, cornbread mix, gravy mix, and fresh foods, including potatoes, carrots, apples and oranges, along with candy canes and a box of cookies, were delivered to the Miller Freedom Center on Old Nassauville Road on Monday, December 16 and distributed to 25 families with an additional 25 families from the Roberts Learning & Achievement Center on Lime Street also receiving meals. In addition, PepsiCo has provided Pepsi and Frito Lay products and Publix has provided a $10 food card to buy meat or other food item of their choice.

Jaguars gather to support feeding families in need.

“The Jaguars are honored to participate in [this] mission during the holidays alongside our partners,” said Jaguars President Mark Lamping.

“Thanks to our valuable relationship with the Jaguars and other partners, 50 of our member families will have all they need to provide a healthy meal to their families this holiday season,” said Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau Senior Director of Development and Marketing Andrew Schmidt.
