The Friends of the Library Book Club will meet Dec. 14 to discuss “Great Circle” by Maggie Shipstead.
The book was shortlisted for the prestigious Booker Prize in 2021 and is a fictionalized story of a pioneering woman aviator.
All are welcome to attend the session in the parlor of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church at Eighth Street and Atlantic Avenue. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., and no pre-registration is required.
The next book to be discussed is “The Night Watchman” by Louise Erdrich on Jan. 11.
