Habitat’s ‘She Nailed It’ Fundraiser Coming Oct. 22

Nassau Habitat for Humanity’s second annual “She Nailed It!” event is coming Oct. 22. This all women, nail hammering, relay race against the clock, will take place at 1 p.m., Mocama Fernandina Beach.

She Nailed It! is not your run-of-the-mill fundraiser. Teams of four women will face off demonstrating their skill, precision, and team spirit as they race against time to complete the challenge.

Amy Beckham, the emcee for “She Nailed It!” is a cherished resident and business owner in Fernandina Beach. Amy’s journey in entertainment began in 2003 when she embarked on her stand-up comedy career with the Comedy Zone in Jacksonville. Her talent and charisma quickly propelled her to the position of house emcee for three years. Over the next 15 years, Amy advanced her career by featuring at various comedy clubs and headlining predominantly corporate events and charity fundraisers.

In addition to the nailing competition, Nassau Habitat for Humanity recently hosted a kick-off event where participating teams had the opportunity to practice their hammering skills.

For those who may not wish to wield a hammer, “She Nailed It!” warmly welcomes spectators to join the event. Attendees will not only witness a fierce competition but will also be treated to the live music of Hupp and Ray.
