Fernandina Observer to hold city commission candidate forum – Thursday, Sept 27

Voters in the City of Fernandina Beach will have the opportunity to hear from five candidates seeking two seats on the Fernandina Beach City Commission on Thursday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers located at 204 Ash Street. This is the seventh consecutive year that the Fernandina Observer has sponsored a candidate forum.

Larry Myers, will again serve as moderator. Myers is a former Fernandina Beach City Manager, Nassau County Administrator, and served as a Legislative Aide to Senator Aaron Bean when Bean was a State Representative.

Always an information event and a way to understand each of the candidate’s views on the various critical issues facing the City. Will the session be recorded for viewing at a later date for those that can’t make the session in person?
