Fernandina Observer to hold 5th Annual Candidate Forum October 20 – Myers to serve as moderator

Fernandina Beach City Commission Candidates Eric Childers (L) and incumbent Johnny Miller (R), will be joined by OHPA District 1 Candidates, Coleman Carnegie Langshaw, and Robert “Bob” Sturgess at the Fernandina Observer Candidate Forum October 20, at 7:00 p.m.

Candidates running for the Fernandina Beach City Commission and Ocean Highway and Port Authority will gather on Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers on South 2nd and Ash Streets for the Fernandina Observer’s 5th Annual Candidate Forum. Citizens will have the opportunity to hear candidates positions on important issues facing our community

For the 5th year, moderator Larry Myers will pose questions to candidates.

Former City Commissioner, Eric Childers, and current Mayor Johnny Miller, candidates for Fernandina Beach City Commission, Group 1, along with candidates Robert “Bob” Sturgess and Coleman Carnegie Langshaw for Ocean Highway and Port Authority, District 1, will answer questions posed by moderator Larry Myers. Myers is a former legislative aide to the now State Senator Aaron Bean.
