Catherine Turner will present St. Michael Catholic Church–a history. The presentation will offer insight into the beginnings of the Catholic Faith on Amelia Island, and how it created a parish of faithful followers through devotion and determination to serve others. St. Michael Catholic Church is a part of the original foundation of Amelia Island. Having grown from Mission-sites to today’s beautiful structure, St. Michael’s remains a beacon of light for all. Let us spend a few moments hearing of the true history of St. Michael’s and how it has impacted our island.
