The Nassau County Emergency Management Operations Center has announced that effective 4:00 p.m. today, the bridges have reopened to allow residents back on Amelia Island. The overnight curfew for Nassau County has also been lifted. The EOC thanks resident and business owners for their continued patience as responders continue the damage assessment and community recovery process.
Power has been returning as well. The historic downtown area was restored around 3:00 p.m.
