Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County (BGCNC) is participating in a Brand Campaign designed by its parent organization, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, to increase public awareness and understanding of the positive outcomes that change kids’ lives by membership in the Clubs. The local Clubs are part of two areas chosen to kick off this “Great Futures” program.

“Great Futures” is the name of a national effort to tell people about how Boys & Girls Clubs provide a safe, fun and learning experience for youngsters aged 6 to 18, after school and during the summer. The key to that experience is a staff of caring professionals who guide every aspect of the Club programs. Nassau County is blessed by two state-of-the-art facilities in which these programs are presented, built and funded primarily by the generosity of Nassau County citizens and businesses.

“Boys & Girls Clubs have served our community for more than 16 years with a safe place and caring mentors,” said BGCNC president Clara Miller, “This new Campaign will show local folks the magic that happens in a Club and how the 522 current Club members’ lives are impacted by participating in the programs led by dedicated professionals. All youngsters need a positive place to go and grow beyond the classroom.” Watch newspapers, TV and Facebook for more excitement about “Great Futures”!
