Editor’s Note: Since Len Kreger’s arrival in Fernandina Beach in 2008, he has been an active community volunteer in environmental and government issues.  He has served on the Sustainable Fernandina Committee, Amelia Island Turtle Watch, and  the City’s Planning Advisory Board, He is a newly reelected city commissioner where is served as Vice Mayor.  As a representative to the Northeast Florida Regional Council, he was recently named vice president.  Kreger has held a Florida Wildlife Commission Sea Turtle Permit Holder for ten years and has worked with the Coastal Wildlife Conservation Initiative and other State environmental groups.  We thank Len for his contribution to the Fernandina Observer.
