Amelia Island revealed . . .

Submitted by Stephen Mintz

Editor’s Note: No, this is not an Amelia Island photo! It is published today in honor of all those who winter on Amelia Island. See what you are missing up north?

Stephen Mintz, a regular island snow bird sent this to us on December 10. He lives in Syracuse, New York but will appear on Amelia Island after the new year. According to Steve, he “stumbled outside (gasp) early this morning to grab this on the front lawn before wind/more snow/whatever ruined it. Stick it somewhere in the Observer, just to brighten the mood of all the snowbirds.”

Stephen Mintz, MD, a long-time Amelia Island snow birder retired from pediatric practice after 35 years. He remains active as an adjunct faculty member of the LeMoyne College Physician Assistant School in Syracuse NY.
