Editor’s Note: Len captured this photo on Amelia Island’s north end on June3. The loggerhead turtle laid its eggs and was heading back to the ocean. Kreger spends many mornings patrolling the beach as a volunteer for the Amelia Island Sea Turtle Watch. He is a long serving community volunteer now serving on the Fernandina Beach City Commission.
