Amelia Community Theatre offers diverse entertainment

May is an exciting month at Amelia Community Theatre with diverse entertainment offerings in its studio theatre at 209 Cedar Street. Acoustic Sessions at 7:30 p.m. on May 15 will feature Tom Leon, Manew Blew, and Josh Miller singing the blues.Tickets are $10.

The theatre’s teen troupe, ACTeen, presents the play Doctor Dolittle at 7:30 p.m. on May 19, and 2:30 p.m. on May 20 and 21. The $15 ticket for this family friendly show includes a “talk with the animals” party one hour before the show.

ACT will end the month with a staged reading of the heartwarming Tuesdays with Morrie at 8 p.m. on May 26 and 27. Ron Kurtz will portray the terminally ill college professor Morrie and Ben Davis is his former student, writer Mitch Albom. Tickets are $10.
