Timoti’s – Wild Caught Seafare

By Dylan Bailey

There’s no denying that good food, coupled with a warm, inviting ambiance, is a recipe for success. Nestled in the heart of downtown is Timoti’s Seafood Shak. A paradise for any who loves seafood, Timoti’s fuses comfort food with a nautical vibe.

Located conveniently on Third Street, Timoti’s is a breeze to find. While they’re not open on Christmas Day, they welcome everyone with open arms on Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. So, if you’re in town during the holiday season, make a point to drop by and tantalize your taste buds.

Timoti’s outdoor seating area, with ample seating, offers a serene street view with minimal traffic disturbance. Chirping birds and gentle breezes add to the tranquil ambiance.

Stepping inside, you’re greeted with a fast-casual dining setup. The nautical theme is apparent, with decor reminiscent of a cozy sea cottage. The vibe is relaxed and laid back, perfect for a leisurely meal.

Timoti’s menu is bursting with various options, from fresh poke bowls to crispy tacos and fried delights. They even cater to vegan and vegetarian preferences, making it a versatile dining spot.

I started with their Baja Box. Priced affordably, this dish offered a generous serving of ingredients. My choice of protein was shrimp, served atop a bed of fluffy coconut rice. A medley of avocado, greens, black bean salsa, and tomatoes, drizzled with tangy cilantro ranch, completed the ensemble.

Next up were Timoti’s hush puppies. These golden, fried balls of dough were everything. Their crunchy exterior gave way to a soft, pillowy inside, making each bite a delightful experience. At an unbeatable price of $1.99 for three, these hush puppies are a steal.

I tried the crab burger next. The crab patty was flavorful, with a crunchy exterior that added a delightful contrast. Served with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and their special Bam-Bam sauce on a toasted bun, this burger was satisfying and tasty.

No meal is complete without a sweet ending, and Timoti’s Cookies and Cream Cup was the perfect way to round things out. This dessert was unique, with a creamy filling over a crumbled graham cracker and Oreo base.

Everything left a positive impression, from the Baja Box to the indulgent Cookies and Cream Cup. Timoti’s Seafood Shak is an unmissable spot if you’re a fan of seafood.

Timoti’s food and service are awesome – and they offer the Keep Nassau Beautiful reusable, recyclable aluminum cup as an alternative to single-use Plastic! Thank you!
