A National Honor Society member, outstanding scholar, and passionate author of poetry, Reagan’s compilation of captivating poetry reflects the essence of originality. Of her selection for this year’s scholarship she says, “I am honored to receive the Amelia Island Book Festival scholarship. I have always loved writing and getting confirmation that I am good at it is so exciting! I’m hoping to publish my writing during college, which this scholarship is helping me pay for.”

Reagan plans a dual major in biochemistry and creative writing. Having outlined her first young adult novel, she looks forward to completing the finished product. In addition, she intends to publish a book of collected poetry.
