Townies Pizzeria presented Micah’s Place with a $500 check to show the restaurant’s appreciation of Micah’s Place’s services for Nassau County domestic violence survivors.

Micah’s Place is the only certified domestic violence center that serves Nassau County. The donation from Townies Pizzeria supports the confidential shelter with counseling, legal advocacy efforts and support groups that it offers.

“We’re proud to support Micah’s Place in their efforts to help domestic violence survivors and to educate the community about domestic violence,” said Matt Klabacka, owner of Townies Pizzeria. “Helping to support the center is just a small token of our appreciation for all they do for survivors.”

Townies Pizzeria is dedicated to supporting a wide variety of charitable organizations in its local community. Townies Pizzeria supports many causes through donations, especially in the arts, education, sports, environmental programs, military veterans and first responders.
