View Monday’s Broadcast of Fernandina Observer Town Hall Meeting

Last night’s Town Hall Meeting is now available for viewing via the City of Fernandina Beach website. (Once on the website, click on light blue box “Recorded City Commission Meetings.”) We thank the City of Fernandina Beach for use of the city commission chambers and City Clerk Caroline Best for her assistance.

This Town Hall Meeting brought together candidates for Nassau County School Board District 5, Nassau County Tax Collector, Nassau County School Superintendent and citizens of Nassau County who posed questions to candidates. Suanne Z. Thamm, reporter-news analyst for the Fernandina Observer served as moderator.

Nassau County School Board District 5

School Board Candidates Dist 5 - Group
Candidate Tyrone Blue (L), and Candidate Jonathan Petree (R).

School Board  candidate Tyron Blue was unable to attend due to a previously scheduled mandatory training in Omaha, Nebraska.

Nice job Suanne. From this afar observer, Mr. Slay has a lot of homework to do. The lack of participation by Mrs. Adkins comes as no surprise. Can’t wait to see tonight’s sessions.
