Thousands of books at Friends of the library book sale – April 7

The Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library’s annual Spring Book Sale kicks off Thursday, April 7, with a special FOL members-only preview from 5-7 pm at the Peck Center Gym, 516 South 10th Street. If you’re not a member, you are invited to join at the door and get first choice of thousands of books and DVD’s for sale. Membership is $15 for students, $35 for individuals, $50 for a couple or $75 for a family.

Library Book Sale CropThe doors will open to all on Friday, April 8, from 9:30 am – 6 pm, and Saturday, April 9, from 9:30 am – 2 pm. Books will be carefully organized for easy browsing in dozens of categories including fiction, biographies, history, art, children’s books, sports, cooking and more including CD’s, DVD’s, and audio books. Most are priced at $2 or less.

Friends of the Fernandina Beach Library are still accepting your donated books and DVD’s to include in the sale. Please note, we do not accept encyclopedias, textbooks, cassette/VHS tapes or magazines. Book donations may be left in the book drop box under the covered walkway in front of Peck Head Start at 511 South 11th Street or you may use the collection/drop off area in the Peck School, 516 South 10th Street using the front entrance.
