Officers from the Fernandina Beach Police Department and the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office teamed up to locate and apprehend a Georgia man wanted by authorities for three counts of child molestation.
The alleged crimes occurred in the town of Social Circle, Georgia, the man’s primary residence. Police in Georgia provided local law enforcement with a secondary address on Amelia Island and a vehicle description, a red 2012 Ford F-150.
Donald Wayne Ewing was taken into custody without incident at 2:30 PM on April 23rd by Officer Gothard of the Fernandina Beach Police Department and Deputy Green of the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently being extradited back to Georgia.
