Justin Taylor, candidate for County Commissioner, District 5, announced this week the endorsement of State Senator Aaron Bean. “I am both humbled and honored to receive the endorsement of Senator Bean,” said Taylor. “I look forward to working with the Senator to ensure Nassau County remains a vital part of the state’s priorities.”

Senator Bean, who was recently re-elected to the Senate without opposition, said, “Justin is a conservative leader who will work hard for the citizens of Nassau County. Justin is someone who has experience working to improve communities, as well as the values, integrity and leadership skills that are needed to keep moving Nassau County forward.”

For over 9 years, Justin Taylor has advocated on a state-wide level to improve Florida’s child welfare system. This comes after Justin’s personal experiences growing up in foster care and his desire to improve the lives of families in need. He has served on several state boards including a Department of Children and Families Task Force, Advisory Board Member for Florida’s Children First, and most recently as a Vice-Chair for the Family Support Services Board of Directors.

For the past 3 and half years, he served as the Public Information Officer for Property Appraiser Mike Hickox where he has enhanced the communication efforts with the citizens and worked to improve efficiencies in office operations.
