On April 2nd and April 4th Nassau County Sheriff’s Office Deputies conducted a drug/traffic enforcement detail along US-17 at the Duval County Line, US-1 at the Duval County Line and US-1 at the Georgia State Line in order to stem the flow of illegal drugs coming into Nassau County.

A total of 29 arrests were made on various charges of possession of illegal drugs, driving while license suspended, and outstanding warrants. Drugs seized: Marijuana 23.8 grams, Crack cocaine: 8.1 grams, Cocaine: 2 grams, Prescription pills 46.

“Our objective is to send a clear message to those who are considering bringing illegal drugs into Nassau County that we won’t tolerate it” said Sheriff Bill Leeper.
