Pat Stichweh, hands thank you cards to veterans for Cara Curtin to deliver to the Robert H. Jenkins, Jr., Veterans Domiciliary Home of Florida in Lake City.
The Plantation Chapel project of thanking veterans for their service was just one activity during the second annual Fall Festival held by the Amelia Island Property Community Association.
Cara Curtin, chair of the Service for Veterans Committee of the Amelia Island Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, delivered the cards to the residents of the domiciliary during a subsequent visit by the Amelia Island Chapter.
