Rotary International Wine and Food Tasting

The 4th Annual Amelia Island International Wine and Food Tasting, hosted by the Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise, will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Coastal Aviation Hanger at the Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport featuring international wines, hors d’oeuvres from local restaurants and big band music.
Proceeds will benefit the Friends of the Library, to help equip the technology center at the Fernandina Beach library, providing computers and assistance for people who do not otherwise have access.
Participants will enjoy premium wines from A Taste of Wine by Steve and food pairings from 11 local restaurants. The beer garden will showcase some of the first beer locally brewed by the new Amelia Tavern. Entertainment features music and dancing to the big band sounds of Crescendo Amelia.
A silent and live auction, raffle and a Wine Wall are also part of the program. In the previous three years, almost $100,000 has been raised and donated to Wolfson Children’s Hospital and Arts Alive Nassau.
Tickets are available online at ameliaislandrotary.com. VIP tickets are $125 and tickets for the Premier Event are $65. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. for the VIP Reception and 7:00 p.m. for the Premier Event.
