Despite Saturday morning and early afternoon rain, faithful Shrimp Festival goers made their way to the historic downtown to enjoy festival activities. Fortunately the forecast calls for clearing skies and a brighter end to the day.

The rain created a problem for one motorist with a generous heart who parked in a parking area manned by a local non-profit. With help from the Fernandina Beach Police Department and Advanced Towing and Recovery, problem solved!
