According to the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) , the individuals involved in a murder suicide in Nassau County were Steven Swan and white male age 53, and suspect Allen James Fourtunia a white male age 59. During the early evening of October 14, First Coast News reported an incident involving the two individuals that began in the parking lot of the Super WalMart in Yulee.
” . . .the suspect [Allen James Fourtunia] ran over the victim and then got out of his vehicle and furthered the assault by punching and kicking the victim. Then, he got in his car and drove off. Witnesses followed the suspect to his home in the Nassau Lakes subdivision.”
The NCSO said, “The investigation is still in the early stages. The relationship between the individuals is still being determined. We do know that they were acquaintances.”
