Nassau County Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 30.
A winter advisory warning issued at 2:20 p.m. by the National Weather Service in Jacksonville predicts “periods of sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.”
A freeze warning is in effect from midnight to 9 a.m. Thursday with temperatures ranging the upper 20’s to around 30 for a period of 6 to 10 hours.
