The Nassau County School District has partnered with GPA (Genetic Potential Academy) to get our employees active. The district receives wellness funds through our health insurance provider to promote health and wellness for employees. Employees have the opportunity to participate in a well‐planned fitness program, as well as nutrition education, led by GPA Director of Personal Fitness, Betty Herberger.

Afternoon sessions are held in Yulee, Callahan, Fernandina, and Hilliard. Participants are assessed and monitored for strength and abilities throughout the program for improvements. Employees receive weekly emails from the trainer with “at home” workout plans and nutrition information. The school district is excited about the opportunity to support and promote fitness and wellness for happier, healthier employees.
