Kinder Morgan VP Allen ForeKinder Morgan donated $5,000 to Boys and Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation. The donation supports the nonprofit’s efforts to continue enabling local youth to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

“Kinder Morgan is committed to the healthy growth and education for children in our community,” said Allen Fore, vice president of public affairs of Kinder Morgan. “The best investment we can make is the one that benefits the future generations to drive our country forward. Just a question? Is this a common contribution that Kinder Morgan Corp. donates to a cause in Nassau County each Year. I’ve not heard of it before. I’ve heard of Mr. Fore handing out Monies in Georgia over the last year, but that was to grease the skids for the Palmetto Pipeline. Hum.

Steve, it’s not because you’ve “not heard of it before” that you should just assume this is a first, and even hint there’s a hidden agenda.
It took me 2 minutes to find their contributions one of those charity report sites, Citizenaudit.org. They gave $5,000 to the Fernandina library in 2012 and in 2014.
I’m in no way connected to Kinder Morgan, but I have an allergy to unfounded assumptions.

Kudos to Kinder Morgan for their support of the Boys and Girls Club. A most worthy organization for all the work they do with the youth of the FB community.

It involves Kinder Morgan into the well being and future of this community. A good start.

There is nothing about Kinder Morgan’s current and future involvement in this community that advances our well being.
Their interests are to advance their own bottom line at the expense of all others. Do your homework, the facts are indisputable.

Peg -Not arguing about who does whose homework – mine is of record since this issue came about. I want to recognize small contributions that may actually intertwine and bring us all together over time in an era of major change. We’ll see.
