ATTN: Residents Still Needing Temporary Housing
The Journey Church is Serving as Nassau County’s Special Needs, Pet-Friendly, Temporary Housing Solution for Residents.
Now that Nassau County’s Emergency Public Shelters have closed so that schools can prepare to reopen, The Journey Church in Yulee (official address is 95707 Amelia Concourse, 32034) has opened to support Emergency Management and house any and all residents who evacuated and have been unable to return home or who still don’t have power and need a dry safe place to stay temporarily.
Emergency Management will arrange transportation for evacuees who were transported to public shelters during the storm and returned home but have now decided they can’t stay in their homes.
