The Institute for Enterprise, Inc (IE), is an initiative formed to promote and encourage our nation’s youth to take steps towards bettering themselves and their communities through entrepreneurial pursuits. IE is committed to providing scholarships, mentoring & educational opportunities across high schools, vocational schools & post secondary schools to ultimately empower young entrepreneurs with the skills to succeed.

An October 2013 Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Study/Survey examined the powerful role of awareness, imitation and role models in inspiring new entrepreneurs. The study/survey reported that people who knew entrepreneurs are more likely to become entrepreneurs.

IE’s officers Douglas M. Newton, President, John Campbell Elwell, Chief Operations Officer, & Tyler S. Stubbs, General Council, all entrepreneurs in their own right, strongly believe that providing our youth with opportunities to develop business acumen, financial, marketing, and economic skills, coupled with practical business experience, will collectively inspire and promote entrepreneurial growth. IE is committed to developing a new generation of enterprising Americans to drive our nation’s growth.
