Editor’s Note: The Nassau Humane Society is very excited to announce the Grand Opening of their new Animal Rescue Center on Friday, November 7. At 11:00am the Ribbon Cutting ceremony will take place followed by tours from 11:30am through 1:30pm and 4:00pm through 6:00pm.

Not what I expected after much fundraising and lots of solicitation for funds and years of hard work volunteering. Improvement over the eye-sore they had but….. a BABY BLUE Superstore Shelter in light blue that says the Chardonnay Foundation in red letters like the Beverage Warehouse………………yipes but there is the Italian Restaurant Water Fountain – needless to say, I had certainly hoped for something more condusive of beautiful Amelia Island than this mismodge disaster. DAMN.
