Students from Mrs. Watts’s class at Callahan Elementary School enjoyed their ice cream party reward for being the top class at CES by collecting the most coins during the “Reading Makes Cents” coin drive to support Ferst Readers of Nassau County during Read Across America Week!
All the Nassau County Elementary Schools participated in the coin drive which raised enough funds for 240 children in Nassau County to receive a free book and literacy resources for one year! We would like to also thank Winn Dixie Callahan and Walmart in Yulee for providing the ice cream
