The Fernandina Beach Municipal Airport is a hub of activity. Construction on the new terminal has gotten underway. The slab is scheduled to be poured Wednesday, November 1, 2017. According to City Manager Dale Martin, a livestream camera has been temporarily placed to view Airport activity. But Saturday is a perfect opportunity for youngsters aged 8-17 to take a free airplane ride, courtesy of the Experimental Aircraft Association. (See flyer below for details.)
