Four candidates vying for the position of City Commission, Group 1 are invited to a candidate forum sponsored by the Fernandina Observer on Tuesday, October 22. The city hall chamber located at S 2nd and Ash Streets is the location and the forum will begin at 7:00 p.m. Larry Myers will serve as moderator.
The last several days have been spent preparing questions. We extend our thanks to many of you who responded to our request for questions. Some of your questions were expanded to provide voters with a broader overview of the subject. Due to time constraints, we simply could not use all of them.
For those unable to attend the forum in City Hall, the forum can be viewed on Comcast channel 264 or at your convenience via live streaming on the city website. Simply go to www.fbfl.us and scroll down to center of page and click on “view commission video.”
We hope you enjoy the forum, but most importantly, we hope you vote and encourage others to do the same. Our goal is to provide information directly to you from the candidates. The Fernandina Observer does not endorse candidates.
