Elmo

Each month the Nassau Humane Society presents a dog in need of a home, and this month it was Elmo’s turn.  Elmo made his public debut at the July 2, 2019 Regular Meeting of the Fernandina Beach City Commission (FBCC).   A Basset hound/Mastiff mix, Elmo is not an apartment dog.  He is house trained and walks on a leash  — but he is not a cat lover.

For more information on animals available for fostering or adoption, visit the Nassau Humane Society’s website https://nassauhumane.org — or just drop by to visit at 641 Airport Road.  The shelter is open afternoons daily except Mondays and closed on major holidays.
