Web London lost everything dear to him in a dark alley: his friends, his reputation, and his fellow agents. London, the only survivor of an elite FBI rescue team, takes you on an incredible journey as he regains his life one piece at a time only to end up in the same bloodstained alley to face his assassin again.

David Baldacci, recognized as one of the great thriller writers of our day has that unique ability to make his readers become a part of the story.  You become that passenger in a plane spiraling toward certain death or the CIA spy walking down a lonely street at night with a knife wielding killer ready to pounce.  You may find yourself in the embrace of a lover experiencing tender feelings never before felt and then struggle as you realize it was all an act of betrayal. Baldacci’s readers live the story word by word, scene by scene as they are transformed into the characters on the pages. They experience the pain of a gunshot and sense the fear on a dead-end street. That is what great writers are able to do. That is what David Baldacci does.

Baldacci has written 27 novels full of thrills and chills. His first, Absolute Power, was made into a movie starring Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman and Ed Harris. King and Maxwell, former Secret Service agents turned private investigators are featured in a hit TNT TV series. His books include The Camel Club series about four eccentric members led by a mysterious man known as “Oliver Stone”. They study conspiracy theories and try to discover the truth behind the chilling spectacles taking place on American soil. Sort of sounds like the Oliver Stone famous for his conspiracy movies, doesn’t it?  Maybe “The Camel Club” should infiltrate today’s White House and Capitol where conspiracies, both real and imagined abound like fleas on a stray dog. What a book that would make!

The Camel Club and King and Maxwell Series are joined by the Shaw Series, John Puller Series, and Will Robie Series, 27 heart thumping thrillers in all.

Can you imagine a man that brings you runaway train excitement can also dish out frivolous tales of childhood fantasy? Well, David Baldacci can … and does.  Freddy and the French Fries: Fries alive, and his three other funny and magical books for young readers show Baldacci’s quirky side. He will make you laugh as Freddy Funkhouser, science geek, embarks on an ambitious plan to win new customers for the family business, The Burger Castle. His characters are memorable as they design secret weapons and outrageous inventions to win new customers and foil the squad of bullies that are determined to bring The Burger Castle to ruin.

David Baldacci has a sentimental side too.  In The Christmas Train he takes his readers on a journey of rude awakenings, thrilling adventures, and Holiday Magic as journalist Tom Langdon tries to get from Washington to LA in time for Christmas. It is a heart touching journey of rediscovery, an affirmation that people are essentially good and that our deepest hopes and dreams can be fulfilled. Baldacci can rise above and go beyond every boundary of emotion in any genre he chooses. That is a rare talent indeed.
