The Fernandina Beach Police Department is investigating a missing person’s case involving a 12 year old boy.

Peter J. Bresko, Jr. has been spending the summer with his father in the Fernandina Beach area. He is upset about having to return home to his mother’s residence out of state. Earlier today he was at the Farmer’s Market in downtown Fernandina Beach where his father is a vendor. At approximately 11:00 a.m. Peter left the area to use the restroom and has not been seen since. Peter is approximately 5’07” and 120 lbs. He will be 13 in December. As a side note, Peter was due to return to his mother’s residence on July 31st but exited the plane before take-off. He was later found at the airport and returned to his father.

Is he not of age to speak to the judge privately about with whom and where he wants to live? Boys need their dad. So do girls, but a woman has a harder time raising a boy into a man. The court allows long distance visitation, so the dad is not evil or criminal, I assume. The boy is saying what he wants as loud as he can, for a minor with no voice.
