Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation is proud to announce that it has received the coveted top, four-star rating award from Charity Navigator for the fourth consecutive year. Charity Navigator is the renowned organization that issues annual ratings covering more than 8,400 non-profits in America. The ratings are based on financial accountability and transparency, and serve to establish that a charity is using its income primarily to support its mission. Only 12% of those thousands of charities nation-wide receive the four-star award. Further, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation is among an even smaller number of non-profits to score a perfect 100 points in its rating.

All contributions to the Foundation are applied to the operation and capital costs of the two local Boys & Girls Clubs, which are dependent on private donors almost entirely. Those donors can be sure that their contributions are used effectively and efficiently. For more information, as well as the opportunity to help support this outstanding activity, go to www.bgcnassau.org.

There is no better way to provide after-school learning and development activities for youngsters, aged 6 to18, than through membership in a Boys & Girls Club. Call (904) 491-9103 for the Roberts Learning & Achievement Center on Lime Street in Fernandina Beach or (904) 261-1075 for the Miller Freedom Center on Old Nassauville Road.

CONGRATULATIONS! This is an honor which is well deserved and hard to attain. It is a tribute to the hard work of the Boys and Girls Club of Nassau County Foundation’s Board of Directors.
