Area Federated Garden Club to be formed

Florida Federation of Garden clubsMembers of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC) are in the initial process of forming a federated garden club to serve the Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach/Yulee area. Current FFGC District IV director, Carolyn Stevens, and local resident and FFGC member, Beverly Williams, will conduct an introductory meeting at a future date to address questions from prospective members. FFGC is a member of National Garden Clubs, Inc and the Deep South Region. National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC) is a not-for-profit educational organization headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The organization comprises 50 state garden clubs and the National Capital Area, 5,000 member garden clubs and 175,000 members. Additionally, NGC has 60 national affiliated organizations within the United States and nearly 330 international affiliated organizations with locations ranging around the globe including: Canada, Mexico, South America, Bermuda, South Africa, Australia and Japan.
