Lines formed through the new restaurant and out the door at 1480 Sadler Road on Thursday, August 3. You would have thought they were giving something out for free. They were. They dished up 840 free 10 inch pizzas, according to Operating Manager, Chris Causey, from 11 a.m. to closing.

“How could they manage that?” you may ask. Check out their beautiful 1000 degree pizza oven in the attached photo. It only takes 2 minutes to heat up each 10 inch pizza and that can make that line move fast. The resultant pizza comes out crispy and delicious, according to this foodie and her photographer husband. It looks charred, but that is part of traditional Neapolitan pizza.

Many customers took their pizzas home, but some sat in the beautifully, bright restaurant and if the weather had not been so hot, might have eaten them outside on the patio. Also available in the new pizza venue were wine, beer and soda dispensing machines to add the finishing touch.

Located in a strip mall with Jersey Mikes, Fancy Sushi and Jade Bistro, this pizza place will add to a great selection of places to eat with easy parking. A friendly, efficient staff also adds to a great atmosphere and hopefully, this restaurant will be a great success.

We haven’t had a real Neapolitan pizza, since we were in Naples on a cruise overlooking the Mediterranean years ago and happily, we enjoyed our free pizza just as much. For employment opportunities you can go to www.1000degreespizza.com or email resume to [email protected].
