Join the Amelia Island Museum of History on the evening of Friday, September 15 for the opening of the museum’s newest temporary exhibit: Fernandina in Fiction! This exhibit takes a look at Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island’s appearances in popular books, movies, and other fictional works.
Giving a special presentation will be Joe Palmer, local author of the book A Mariner’s Tale, who will speak about Southern fiction and how Amelia Island influenced his work.
Attendance is free for members, and a suggested donation of $5 for nonmembers. Seating is limited on a first-come, first-served basis. This program is wheelchair accessible.
