There were two Beans at the August 3, 2021 Fernandina Beach City Commission meeting: Commissioner Bradley Bean and Bean, the energetic mixed breed dog who has been named Dog of the Month. Bean (the dog) is a year old male, and according to his bio on the Nassau Humane Society website, he’s happy-go-lucky and super-sweet — “He wants to be everybody’s friend.” He’d especially like to be your best friend, for life! He’ll come to you neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots.
For more information on animals available for fostering or adoption, visit the Nassau Humane Society’s website https://nassauhumane.org — or just drop by to visit at 641 Airport Road. The shelter is open afternoons daily except Mondays and closed on major holidays.
I love the shelter dogs getting such wonderful visibility this month, first the photos with our law enforcement officers, and now this. Keep up the good work and thank you for all you do!
