City NewsFernandina Beach Police Capt Jim Norman celebrates 29 years of service Posted on March 16, 2021March 15, 2021 by Press Release Fernandina Beach Police Department March 15, 2021 This is Captain Jim Norman. He is celebrating 29 years with the FBPD. During his time with the FBPD, Captain Norman has served in various assignments to include Patrol, Investigations, Evidence, and Support Services. Captain Norman was promoted to Captain in 2006 by Chief Hurley and directs the Support Services component of the FBPD. In his current role, he manages training, equipment, records, information technology and many more behind the scenes functions that keep the FBPD operating.
