On Saturday, January 21, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m., the Nassau County Council on Aging (NCCOA) and Arbor Terrace Ortega invite you to join us for a unique, interactive experience that will give you insight into what living with dementia or Alzheimer’s is like.
Participants in the Virtual Dementia Tour actually experience some of the physical and mental effects those with dementia endure.The simulation helps caregivers and family members better understand andempathize with the changes and challenges their loved ones face.
The tour is broken up into 30-minute time slots and space is limited, so reservations are required. Please RSVP to the NCCOA by 2 p.m. on Friday, January 20 by calling 904.261.0701.
