Despite extensive damage to the interior of the South 8th Street Enterprise-Rent-A-Car business after an early morning accident, an Enterprise representative said, “it is business as usual.” Cars are still available for rent and customers returning cars will continue to be directed to the 8th Street location. Due to interior smoke damage, plans are in place to bring a modular unit to the site within the next few days.
An individual on the premises indicated the single car accident was due to a medical condition. In the photo provided by Deborah Powers, staff reporter, there are no brake marks visible. No information is available as to the condition of the driver.
