Pozzi Bistro on Ash Street closes

September 22, 2020

Pozzi Bistro opened its doors two years ago, but due to the “challenges of COVID-19 and the corresponding drop in demand,” owners Steven and Candy Pozzi announced the close of their business. Pozzi Bistro was given recognition as an Open Table, “Diners’ Choice” Best In Jacksonville/Northeast Florida.

…Covid didn’t get this business, government shutdowns did. Hopefully, they can find a way to regroup and return at some point!

You’re right, sir. Trump and the government failed to prepare for the pandemic.

So sad. This is heart-breaking, and too costly for the owners.

If the economy doesn’t reopen soon, more will follow.

You’re right, Bob. And to think, all it takes is a little mask to keep everyone and the economy safe, yet people selfishly refuse.

This makes me sad to see. Especially since my grandfather’s business location was previously here, Askins Advertising. It was a historical building, which was moved to another location. Best wishes to the owners, Steven and Candy and I wish them best wishes in their future endeavors.

Uh….Obama and Biden left the cupboards bare and Trump enacted a policy to fast track vaccines…long before a pandemic hit. Clearly, Trump was more prepared in 3 years than the Obama/ Biden debacle was in 8 years….

Mr. Kelly, you are entitled to your own opinions, but NOT your own facts. Trump announced Operation Warp Speed on May 15th, almost four months after he was warned on January 28th that the COVID virus would be the biggest challenge of his presidency.

Uh… sometimes it’s better to get your information from sources other than Rush the opioid addict, Fox News and a pathologically lying Thief-in-Chief. President Obama tried to replenish and expand emergency stockpiles but was thwarted by Republican controlled Congress, from 2010 on, after the H1N1 pandemic. Donnie from Queens didn’t even try to replenish N95 masks for front-line healthcare workers until fourth week of March, at least three months deep into the pandemic. Take a deep gulp of the Kool Aid if it helps you sleepwalk through this time.
