Plantation Artists’ Guild & Gallery (PAGG) will feature as their October Corner Show an exhibit of the “St. Augustine Collection,” among the later works of acclaimed artist Ken Keeley. Marking the start of the exhibit will be a special reception open to the public on Friday, October 1st from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Works include Flagler College-Entrance, Oldest Schoolhouse in the USA, Flagler College-Courtyard, Ponce De Leon Statute, The Lion on the Lion’s Bridge, Saint Augustine Carousel and Presbyterian Church-St. Augustine.

Renowned for his iconic paintings of NYC Newsstands and Times Square and views of America, the late Mr. Keeley mastered the intimate visual rendition of a large universal scene, in intimate detail and sustained with a certain emotion. Not quite nostalgia, but an acknowledgement of how things were, how they are now. Mark your calendar for this rare opportunity to view some of Keeley’s original work, all of which are offered for sale.

PAGG is a not-for-profit artist cooperative located at 94 Amelia Village Circle in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation shops. Gallery hours are Monday 11-5, Tuesday 9-1, Wednesday through Saturday 11-5, and Sunday 1-5. For more information call (904) 432-1750, visit paggart.com, or Facebook at Plantation Artists’ Guild & Gallery.
