According to Circuit Court Judge Robert Foster, Chief Judge Elect Mark Mahon of Florida’s 4th Circuit Court, is returning  Judge Suzanne Bass to Jacksonville beginning January of 2015. Judge Adrian Soud will replace Judge Bass in Nassau County.

In the spring of 2014, Bass assumed the Nassau County circuit court position  after Judge Brian Davis was appointed to a federal judgeship. Judge Bass will fill a vacancy in the Juvenile Division created by Judge Mahon’s election as chief judge. Bass was the first female judge in Nassau County.

“Judge Bass has quickly become a member of our community due to her hard work and diligence in handling her division in her active participation in our local activities and clubs,” says Foster. “Judge Bass asked me to express on her behalf she is saddened to leave after being here such a short time. It is with great appreciation we thank Judge Bass and her judicial assistant Kathy Fristrom.”
