Its just politics . The Sheriff is pitting on a show . He wants to create more high paying positions at the at the Sheriffs Office so he can give more of his retired friends and retired J.S.O . a second income , A nice new building with big offices for them to hang out in , and new take home cars all around because all our police cars are wore out . He wants to raise your taxes to do it . The Sheriff isn’t working for us , We are working for the Sheriff and his friend’s .

I wish law enforcement at all levels would spend less time on the “war on drugs” and more time focused on the illegal activities of financial advisers who exploit the vulnerable. We could call it the “War on Financial Fraud” or some other catchy name. Perhaps sting operations could be performed that target financial advisers employed by Financial Service corporations that make campaign contributions to political campaigns.

Police, Veterans, Firefighters and lots of other folks all have jobs that can be dangerous. Some may have elected to protect their earnings and their families through various instruments that necessarily involves the Financial Services Industry. It is in everyone’s interest that the law regarding financial accounts are upheld.

Eric Cantor (the congressman from Virginia,) who had a campaign war chest of something like $5,000,000 lost to Dave Brat who had something like $200,000. Cantor lost the primary election to Brat. Cantor took significant contributions from the financial sector (Blackstone, LPL Financial, etc.) Yet Cantor lost. Brat has spoken about holding financial operators accountable. This is encouraging news. Perhaps true change is on the horizon. Let us hope so.
